Gentle Yoga

Monday and Wednesday 9-10am at Star City Hall. Bring a yoga mat- $25 per month beginning September 6. Call208-286-7247for more details. An emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture (asana) and breathe control (pranayama). Development of strength, mobility and stability will be gained and the use of props, such as belts, and blocks as aids in performing. The props enable students to perform the asanas correctly, minimizes the risk of injury or strain, and making the postures accessible to both young and old. Class is ongoing with a minimum of 6 participants.


Drawing Class for all ages and abilities taught by local artist Joan Johnston

Beginners will learn how to use value scale, light, shadows and textures to create three dimensional forms. $80 includes instruction cost and there is a one time $20 material fee (large sketchbook, pencil eraser and shader).Intermediate artists will be challenged with more intense projects and instruction. A total of 8 classes will be held Wednesday evenings 6:30-8pm at Star City Hall October 4- November 8. Space is limited. 208-286-7247 if you are interested or have questions.


Adult Fall Soccer
